Andrea Meinhold is passionate about supporting entrepreneurial families in the development of ownership strategies, transgenerational succession planning, and family constitutions. Her mission is to bring generations together, align them around a shared vision, and help them move forward with clarity and purpose. She fosters constructive and respectful dialogue among family members and works closely with them to develop strategies for a successful and sustainable future.
Another key focus of her work is the structured design and implementation of forward-looking governance frameworks for businesses, shareholder families, and wealth management structures. This includes the development of effective supervisory and leadership structures that support long-term continuity and success.
In her role as a mediator, Andrea also helps build bridges between generations, family branches, and shareholders when conflicts have made constructive dialogue difficult and positions have become entrenched over time. These bridges create the foundation for a clear ownership strategy and the conditions necessary for effective and sustainable business leadership.
Drawing on many years of experience as an attorney at leading international and commercial law firms, Andrea is highly familiar with the unique challenges and dynamics of family businesses. As a member of an entrepreneurial family herself, she experienced a generational transition firsthand and understands from personal experience the challenges and complexities such transformations can bring, both for the business and for the family. Since December 2024, she has been a member of the PETER MAY Family Business Consulting team.
Her guiding principle is:
“I am fascinated by family stories. My passion lies in preserving families and family businesses, enabling their stories to be carried forward into the future in a positive and successful way.”
