As the youngest of three sisters raised in agriculture in northern Germany, Amelie Eichblatt became involved with the dynamics in entrepreneurial families at an early age and became enthusiastic about the special characteristics of family businesses and their succession.
After training as a bank clerk and completing dual studies in economics in Hamburg and Copenhagen, she studied Strategic Marketing & Management in Munich and Edinburgh and worked for the private bank Berenberg in Hamburg for several years. There, she headed the Competence Centre for Entrepreneurs and the Next Generation until the end of 2018 and was responsible for cross-divisional strategy implementations. She then took the step into a consulting role and joined PwC Family Governance Consulting and the INTES Academy for Family Businesses as an owner strategy consultant.
Amelie Eichblatt’s work addresses several crucial points. As a certified business mediator, she accompanies owner families in succession processes and improves family governance effects in the long term through family constitutions and owner strategies. As a systemic coach, she attends successors in the development of roles and responsibilities. As a sparring partner, she creates connections and promotes exchange between the next generation of numerous family businesses. As a speaker in seminars and workshops, she manages to convey her experience and great passion for family businesses coupled with a deep understanding of the issues and challenges of the next generation in a memorable and vivid way.
Her guiding principle is: “I am enthusiastic about creating sustainable emotional and economic added value for families and their businesses through open and trusting cooperation.”
